EXPLOSION Above 38░C explosive vapour/air mixtures may be formed.
Above 38░C use a closed system, ventilation, and explosion-proof electrical equipment.
In case of fire: keep drums, etc., cool by spraying with water.
EXPOSURE


  • INHALATION
    		• Cough. Drowsiness. Headache. Sore throat.
    		Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection.
    		Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
  • SKIN
    		• Dry skin. Redness.
    		Protective gloves. Protective clothing.
    		Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
  • EYES
    		• Lacrimation. Redness. Pain.
    		Safety spectacles, or face shield.
    		First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION
    		• Drowsiness. Headache. Nausea.

    		Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Rest. Refer for medical attention.
    SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
    Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Wash away remainder with plenty of water.
    		Fireproof. Cool. Keep in the dark.

     COLOURLESS LIQUID , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

     The substance can presumably form explosive peroxides. Reacts with strong oxidants, acid chlorides, acid anhydrides, aluminium and copper.

    OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
     TLV: 100 ppm; 369 mg/m3 (as TWA); 150 ppm; 553 mg/m3 (STEL) (ACGIH 1997).

    		ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
     The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its vapour or its aerosol, through the skin and by ingestion.

    INHALATION RISK:
     A harmful contamination of the air will be reached rather slowly on evaporation of this substance at 20░C.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
     The substance and the vapour (in high concentrations) irritates the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract. Exposure to very high concentrations may result in central nervous system depression.

    EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
     The liquid defats the skin.
